Walleye fishing in Minnesota is a tradition that spans many generations and brings them back to Norway Beach on Cass Lake. Cass Lake is the largest of 8 lakes on the Cass Lake Chain of Lakes, located in the heart of the Chippewa National Forest. Cass Lake’s 15,596 acres are filled with unique structure, steep drop-offs, sunken islands and sand bars that create World Class Fishing opportunities for everyone. Walleyes lead the list but our lake has abundant northern pike, jumbo perch, muskie, bass, sunfish and some large pumpkinseeds. Cass Lake and Norway Beach Resort are a fisherman’s paradise.

We fully support both the serious and the not so serious angler. Tackle and bait are sold in the resort store and a modern fish cleaning house and freezer service are provided at no charge. Boat and motor rental is available. We have 1, 16 foot deep-V aluminum boat with 20 HP Yamaha electric start motor, or rent 1 or 2 Pontoons and take the whole group fishing for the day!
